Talavera Style Large Size Pedestal Fruit Bowl Signed "Becerra" Mexico Circa 1995

About the Item

Large size beautiful Mexican fruit bowl in the Spanish Colonial Talavera influence; hand painted multi floral design in colors of green, rust, pale yellow, black, white mauve, and deep blue. The glazed surface is completely intact and all original with no chips, breaks, or restoration of any kind; signed "Becerra" on the underneath. In addition to the elaborate interior bowl design, the pattern is maintained to the exterior, with the outside circumference showing a hand painted blue border to the scalloped edge which is repeated at the bottom (see images). This is a fine quality "showy" centerpiece in excellent and all original condition, recently acquired in an upscale San Francisco estate. Dimensions: 15" diameter to the top 6 3/4" base 8" high
