12 Hawkes Crystal China Aster Pattern Water Goblets

About the Item

Hawkes, Corning, NY. These water goblets, in the rare China Aster pattern by Hawkes, set a gorgeous table. Tall and beautifully cut in extra heavy crystal, the Chrysanthemum motif is widely considered to be one of the finest American brilliant cut designs of the early 20th century. An additional caveat, China Aster is part of the Hawkes Gravic line acknowledged as the pinnacle of American glass cutting. Excellent condition throughout, no nicks, chips or cracks, circa 1950s. Size: 7 5/8 inches high by 3 1/2 inches diameter. HALLMARKS: Some are marked HAWKES on the top edge of the base. STOCK NUMBER: 20955 Pieces acquired from this dealer must delight you.
