Delft Blue and white lobed dish with flowers 1670-1690

Blue and white lobed dish with flowers. Delft, 1670-1690 Dimensions: diameter 21,4 cm / 9.6 in. The blue and white painted lobed dish is composed of twenty, small lobes and is painted with flowers and leafy branches. The centre features two flowers and a low table within a double circle and a white band. The lobed border is decorated with a continuous decor of flowers and leafy branches. The rim is blue. Explanatory note: Flowers and floral decorations are frequently depicted in all kinds of variants on Dutch faience in the seventeenth century. The decor of two single flowers also appears in blue on larger lobed dishes. Condition: The Dish is in good condition with the usual minor glaze damage to the edges. There is a small restoration in the rim, clearly visible in one of the images. Nice clear glaze.
