Antique J. Hall & Sons Brown Transferware Plate

About the Item

This elegant plate has a scalloped edge, floral design trim with old architectural buildings along a winding river with a sailboat in center; transfer printing, a decorative technique which was developed in England in the mid-18th century. J.Hall & Sons pottery was manufactured in Burslem, England. There is wear consistent with age. 8.75”dia. x 1”h
