3 Red & Blue Glass Vases - Boda Sweden - Erik Höglund - 1960s Midcentury Modern
About the Item
Three glassvases designed by Erik Höglund at Boda, Sweden. The red vase is 13.5 cm high and 15 cm in diameter, the highest blue vase is 21.5 cm high and 11 cm in diameter, the other blue vase is 16,5 cm high and 15 cm in diameter. The red vase do have a small crack in it, the other two are in very good condition. The red one is marked and the other two are unmarked.
Erik Höglund, born in 1932 in Stockholm, was a prominent Swedish glass artist and visual artist. He is known for his unique style and created many impressive glass artworks throughout his career. Höglund experimented with various techniques and crafted fantastic sculptures, lamps, and glass objects. His works often feature organic forms and playful colors. Höglund's influence on Swedish glass art is significant, and his works are now represented in many international collections. His passion for glass lives on through his legacy, and his contributions to the art world continue to resonate today.
