Antique Stourbridge Etched & Engraved Glass Handled Decanter

About the Item

A fine antique English etched and engraved glass handled decanter. Attributed to Stevens & Williams or Webb. With engraved & etched designs trelliswork, flowers, and shield devices. With a shaped rim, curved handle, and a stopper with cut leaf motifs. The stopper has an engraved no.1 and the decanter has an engraved no.2 to the neck. Simply a wonderful English art glass vessel! Date: Late 19th or Early 20th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Maker: Attributed to Stevens & Williams or Webb. In the style of Kny or Fritsche. Measurements: Height: ca. 11 3/4 in. Width: ca. 5 7/8 in. Depth: ca. 5 1/4 in.
