About the Item

This absolutely stunning and rare Italian Murano opalescent glass vase by Anzolo Fuga for Avem has glorious applied murrines of colors of reds, browns with a purple hint. The original paper sticker is still intact as exemplified in the photos. The vase is tall, commanding and gorgeous. It can act as a beautiful Murano object, vessel or as a vase. We would highly recommend a plastic liner be placed inside before you put flowers so as to not ruin the glass with fogging over a period of time. It is an early and rare piece of glass from the 1950s. This is a beauty beyond. It is Mid-Century Modern. It is painterly and the murrines are exaggerated almond shaped blobs perfectly randomly blown and placed. This is an exquisite large vase or vessel and a rare one. Stellar! A must acquisition.
