Murano Glass Vase by Venini and Co., Italian mid century circa 1940

About the Item

This is a very good mid-20th century Murano Italian art glass cylinder vase that we attribute to Venini and Co. made circa 1940. The vase is cylindrical in shape on a low foot. It is beautifully made with an oily iridescent trailed decorative effect over an amethyst colored mottled decoration. This gives a striking effect particularly with the light behind it or when high lighted with a lamp. We date this piece to the mid-20th century, circa 1940.
