Designed by Mario Bellini and manufactured by Venini Murano Venice in 1992. Clear iridescent glass with applications of remnants in polycrome glass. With company lable and incised signature "venini Mario Bellini 1992 / 39" on the base. This is one of the rare examples without any defect. In 1921 Paolo Venini and Giacomo Cappellin founded a company that would become world famous. Under the artistic directions of Vittorio Zecchin the Vetri Soffiati Cappellin Venini & C. become the whiz kid of the golden 1920s. Over the decades, countless world-renowned artists like Napoleone Martinuzzi, Carlo Scarpa, Tomaso Buzzi, Fulvio Bianconi, Tuni Zuccheri, Thomas Stearns, Toots Zynski or Ettore Sottsass have enthusiastically worked for Venini, designing something very special with each of their new techniques and designs. The creations of Venini were honored with several awards. Till today Venini is one of the leading art glass manufacturies on Murano.
