About the Item
Thick Murano Glass - Decorative Glass Bowl - Bullicante Murano Glass
Beautiful decorative bowl in thick Murano glass, in a vibrant hue of aquamarine green, with included bubbles. This technique, consisting in blowing tiny air bubbles in the glass before it thickens, is called "Bullicante" and was mastered by artisans the like of Archimede Seguso.
The piece is not signed, but dated - behind the bottom it reads "Murano 14-9-1983" as shown in pictures. It is preserved in very good conditions, and shows the expectable signs of the time including minor scratches and an overall patina.
