18th Century French Rouen Ceramic Platter

About the Item

A large 18th century French Rouen white glazed cul noir earthenware platter with scalloped edge, hand-painted with blue decorative banded border and a fruit basket in the center. Robust heavy pottery with simple charming design and dark brown glazed back. Minor losses to glaze. Weight: 4.5 lbs. Please refer to photos for more details.
