Antique 1910s Georgian Style English Sterling Silver Waiter

About the Item

A fine and impressive antique George V English sterling silver waiter made in the George III style; an addition to our dining silverware collection. This fine antique George V sterling silver waiter has a circular incurved, shaped form. The surface of this antique waiter is plain and unembellished. The raised border is encircled with an impressive applied gadroon decorated border to the rim. The waiter is supported by the three fine and impressive claw and ball feet, in the classic George III style. The underside of this impressive example of antique silverware bears the retailer's mark 'Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company, 112 Regent Street, W'. Condition This antique silver waiter is a very good gauge of silver, excellent quality and in exceptional presentation condition. The applied decoration is very sharp. Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the waiter are all very clear. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of antique silverware.
