Huge Antique Johnson Brothers Windsor Ware "Wild Turkeys" Ceramic Platter

About the Item

This extremely large serving platter was made by the well known Johnson Brothers of England in approximately 1900 in a period Victorian style. The platter is ceramic and comes from their Windsor Ware line, with a cream ground and decorated with a central hand-engraving of two wild turkeys in flight, with the border accented with stylized frruits and flowers. The platter is clearly signed with the Johnson Bros. maker's mark with their period castle logo.
