Jens Quistgaard for Dansk "Rare Woods" Serving Tray
About the Item
A "bow tie" tray designed by Jens Quistgaard for Dansks Rare Woods collection, c.1960s, Denmark features sculpted Palisander wood. The top of the tray contains three divided sections and curved sides, two additional pieces of wood on the underside give the tray a raised quality. This piece has been exceptionally maintained, as the Palisander has aged to perfection.
Dansk is one of the most beloved and celebrated makers of mid-century table and kitchenware; whether its their use of wood or enamel, their designs endure even 60 years later, making their pieces highly sought after and collectible.
Marked "Palisander - Dansk Denmark - JHQ" on underside.
