A magnificent, fine and impressive antique Georgian English sterling silver meat platter made by Paul Storr, an addition to our dining silverware collection. This magnificent antique George III sterling silver meat platter has an oval shaped form with a sunken plain oval central well. The well of this silver platter is plain and unembellished. The raised shaped border is ornamented with a contemporary bright cut engraved marital coat of arms above two-tied branches. The rim of this impressive example of Georgian silverware is encompassed with an applied tied reed decorated border accented with crossed branches to each incurve.
