Roger Capron (1922 -2006) remporte en 1970 le Grand Prix International de la Céramique. Céramiste surdoué et visionnaire, Il contribua à l'âge d'or de la céramique avec Picasso, Derval, et Picault. Il a notamment été engagé pour refaire la décoration de l'hôtel Byblos de St Tropez.
