19th C Handpainted Botanical Rihouet Paris Porcelain Pink Dessert Service 17 Pcs

About the Item

This is an extensive and exquisite 19th century dessert service made by Rihouet, Paris, circa 1820s. Each piece is superbly hand painted with a unique botanical specimen framed by the iconic "Rose DuBarry" ribbon border and trimmed in gold. The set consists of 12 dessert plates, two fruit baskets with woven lattice-work and braided handles, two low flat compotes and one tall dished compote. Perfect for a dramatic display and ready to be used at your next dinner party. All in amazing condition!
