Decorative Vienna Porcelain Tray

About the Item

A wonderful large Vienna porcelain tray with a beautifully painted genre scene entitled "Die Ainkunftam Tanzboden" after Austrian genre painter Franz von Defregger (1835-1921). The scene is painted within a maroon and pink gilt patterned border. Title and artist information painted on reverse with beehive mark, circa 1890. Measures: 19 1/4" diameter.
