Delphin Massier (1836 - 1907) - Grande Colonne " Heron et Papillons".Pair of columns with herons by Massier, Each column is topped with a vase decorated with flowers and reminds of the traditional majolica work found in the Mediterranean. Created by Delphin Massier (1836-1907) in the town of Vallauris, where his family had lived for generations, these pieces show an exuberance and a passion for the local flora and fauna. Both columns decorated with herons This set of columns were such a successful model that in Massier's posthumous product catalogue of 1908 they are offered in various sizes.Size:115 cm high and 55 cm diameter.Made in enameled ceramic.
