A fine and rare example of a short lived period in American porcelain, in the Aesthetic taste. The crimped bowl decorated in raised gilt enamel depicting a sparse landscape of cattails and a butterfly. Raised on a base of stacked naturalistic twig base. Marked in red O & B Sword mark.
