About the Item
A very elegant pair of lamps, English, probably Copeland or Minton, in the French manner, Parian ware (unglazed porcelain). The group reminds one of summer, where two figures are eating grapes and another is holding a garland of flowers.
The group sits on an elegant Sèvres style base, adorned with gilt swags and garlands of flowers, held up by gilded lions heads on a turquoise background,
English, circa 1870.
