Royal Worcester porcelain vase, Storks, painted by George Johnson, dated 1919. The cylindrical body, finely painted with a study of storks, at an oasis, in a continuous desert landscape. Having a reticulated and gilded back, whilst being set upon four gilt scroll feet. Signed – G. Johnson. Printed green factory marks, date code for 1919, and model number G42 to the base. Height – 22 cm, 8 5/8”. Diameter – 9 cm, 3 1/2”. Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
