Set of 10 Antique Rose Medallion Dinner Plates
About the Item
An assembled set of ten Rose Medallion dinner plates, good quality and well matched with some variations of color and design among them. These date probably to the early 20th century, ca. 1915, all bearing one of two designs of red oxide glazed marks on the back “Made in China”, according to the US import law of 1890, requiring labelling of country of origin. Suitable for use or display. Overall nice antique condition with signs of age and use. Strong coloring, no chips, two with tight hairlines, one plate with one small surface restoration visible only on the back, all with some typical glaze wear, mainly to some of the faces, and rims.
