A fine antique 18th century pottery tile. In terra cotta. Depicting what appears to be a Native American Indian archer in a grass skirt with birds and plants in the background. Likely of Dutch origin. Simply a great antique tile! Date: 18th century Overall Condition: It is in overall fair, as-pictured, used estate condition with no repairs. Condition Details: There are numerous losses, chips, and edge wear throughout. The bottom left corner is chipped off. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Maker: Unknown Marks: Marked to the reverse of the tile with a 4. Measurements: Width: ca. 8 1/8 in. Height: ca. 5 1/2 in. Depth: ca. 3/4 in. Items purchased from this dealer must delight you. Purchases may be returned for any reason for a period of 7 days.
