Early 20th Century Pot from Mexico

About the Item

Early 20th century water pot from the bordering area of Oaxaca and Veracruz. These pots have their particular style of expanding in diameter half way up. The style also includes 2 small knobs on either side of the rim circumference. The rim on this example has been worn off completely and thus the knobs are no longer.

    Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor structural damages. Minor fading. Cement was removed from the pot using muriatic acid. Weight approximately 25 - 30 lbs.
