Longwy Art Deco French Cloisonné Ceramic Vase Stepped with Flowers Grand Size
About the Item
Longwy Art Deco French Cloisonné ceramic vase. Stunning extra large size, bright color with faceted base. Stepped design treatment of blue and gold with repeated flower pattern design intersected in blue triangular lines. This design intersects throughout the shape. Gold both on the top rim and the rim of the base, a very rare and unusual piece, circa the 1930s, the prize for any collection.
Longwy is well known for perfection in the detailing of the cloisonne execution as you can see clean detailing throughout the perfection of the design of this beautiful vase. Gold trim on the lid and on the base. In excellent original condition with no restoration.
