Mexican Talavera Pulque Pitcher
About the Item
The unique design of this pulque jar, part Indian head, and part Royal Doulton, was produced in Puebla, yet fashioned after traditional 18th and 19th century English "Toby" designed mugs. This very unusual fusion of English and Mexican tradition is seldom manifested in talavera pottery.
