About the Item
A pair of Harlequin figure wall hangings, fittings are inside the baskets to screw a small lamp holder, highly detailed and in near perfect condition, circa 1955. The glazes are brilliant and the figures themselves are highly amusing and decorative.
The blue jacketed figure has the middle finger of his left hand missing, not really noticeable as it is behind the basket. Both figures have hair, one black the other yellow, sticking out from under their hats, a couple of those pieces are missing, again virtually unnoticeable.
Fully signed on the back of one, the other unmarked, suggesting that they were made as a pair and for over 60 years they have stayed together.
