A fine and impressive antique George VI English sterling silver fruit/sweet dish in the Art Deco style; an addition to our dining silverware collection
This fine antique George VI sterling silver fruit/sweet dish has a circular form.
The body of this piece is embellished with a broad band of tooled decoration to the rim.
The sunken well has been crafted in the iconic Art Deco style with a stepped concentric circular form.
This dish is spliced with three fine and impressive tool decorated horizontal cylindrical feet/handles in the Art Deco style.
The underside of the dish bears the retailer’s mark 'Walker & Hall, Sheffield'.
This dish is a fine and unusual example of its type, such pieces are rare to the market.
Condition
This Walker & Hall fruit dish is an exceptional gauge of silver, fine quality and in exceptional condition. The fine example of antique silverware has been professionally polished. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the dish are very clear.
