About the Item
Superb Late Victorian Antique mahogany twin handled Inlaid serving drinks Tray of oval outline and of outstanding quality, of English origin, last quarter of the Nineteenth Century.
The main area incorporating profuse Walnut, Satinwood and Olivewood decorative inlay, depicting lavish scrolling detail with a central bellflower circle.
Polished brass twin handles attached to a stunning wide gallery rail banding with decorative pierced decoration.
Measures: Height: (at handles) 2.5” (5cm). Width: (entire, excluding handles) 22.75” (58cm). Depth: 15.5” (39.5cm).
Condition: Good untouched condition with no evidence of any restoration, nice allover patination, no damage to brasses. Baise lined underneath around handles, nicely done. * Beautiful heavy gauge example, stunning quality.
