An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver comprehensive Albert pattern flatware service for twenty-four persons; an addition to our canteen of cutlery collection.
The pieces of this exceptional, antique Victorian sterling silver canteen of cutlery for twenty-four persons have been crafted in the Albert pattern.
The anterior and posterior surfaces of each rococo inspired, King's shape handle are embellished with scrolling leaf ornamentation.
The heel and shoulders of each piece are embellished with further scrolling decoration.

The fundamental pieces of this impressive antique London silver service were crafted by William and Elizabeth Eaton, with the sugar sifter, butter knife and pastry fork made by Samuel Hayne & Dudley Cater.

These impressive examples of antique silverware are supplied in felt cutlery rolls; which not only protect the items in storage but significantly reduces tarnishing.
As is the case with most services made by London silversmiths in the Victorian era, this flatware set is a superior gauge and quality; as to be expected by these renowned silversmiths.
Such services, with twenty-four place settings, are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.
Condition
This antique Albert pattern canteen of cutlery is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.
Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of each piece are all clear; the hallmarks are deeply struck due to the exceptional gauge of silver, as to be expected of these makers.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these examples of Victorian silver spoons, forks and serving pieces.
