Archibald Knox Tudric Art Nouveau Coffee Pot For Liberty & Co

About the Item

A good original Art Nouveau Tudric for Liberty & Co pewter lidded coffee pot with embossed floral designs by Archibald Knox (1864-1933) and dating from around 1905. This stylish bell shaped body coffee pot has a raised pouring spout and ebony wood handle and with a domed fitted lift cover. The coffee pot has a scrolling stylised floral design repeated to both sides and has a wonderful rich grey patina with a contrasting finish to the lower body. The pot is marked to the base and is numbered 0375. In good original condition with a loose handle as is common for these examples and with wear and a very small ding to the body.
