French 19th Century Tole Tray with Hand-Painted Floral Decor and Beveled Edges

About the Item

A French tole tray from the 19th century, with hand-painted floral decor, beveled edges and nicely weathered patina. Created in France during the 19th century, this rectangular tôle tray features a mustard yellow color accented by a hand-painted décor depicting pink roses and blue and purple flowers accompanied by their green leaves. Showcasing raised beveled edges, the tray comprises of two pierced handles on the sides. The ensemble boasts a nicely weathered patina revealing its age and good use. With its delicate decor and rustic character including some chips and other signs of aging, this French tole tray from the 19th century will make for a lovely addition to any home, placed in a living room, dining room or breakfast area.
