Gallia For Christofle, Gravy Boat ’Swan’ and its spoon By Christian Fjerdingstad
About the Item
This ‘cygne’ gravy boat was created in 1935 and in the Gallia collection of Christofle designed By Christian Fjerdingstad.
Gallia was the creative and avant-garde production collection of the famous Christofle house.
The gravy boat has its original serving spoon with a shape of a swan neck and head.
This model is hallmarked O. GALLIA 0422 and therefore an early exemple of the model.
The Collection Gallia of Christofle comes from the special metal combination used that entirely changed the Christofle production. This metal was of a higher quality and strength for tableware.
