Italie Solid Silver 800 Meet dish with lid
About the Item
Meat serving plate in 800 silver with lid.
Oblong or "track" shaped, the tray is made from a very thick silver plate, shaped onto which an English-style border was subsequently welded.
Inside the tray a precious wood has been positioned to ensure that the silver is not damaged when cutting the meat.
The elongated dome lid was also made from a very thick silver plate which, positioned above the tray, allows the meat dish to remain at the right temperature.
The handle, positioned above the lid, is shaped, smooth and made with the casting technique.
