Pair of Omar Ramsden Arts & Crafts Sugar Casters / Shakers 1930 / 33 London

About the Item

A pair of Arts & Crafts sterling silver sugar casters by the esteemed Silversmith Omar Ramsden. These Sugar Shakers have a tapered hexagonal shape and stand on spread pedestal feet. The exterior of the Casters have a lightly hammered finish. The push fit lids each feature a wonderful pierced geometric design. These excellent casters are a matched pair and have a magnificent almost sculptural feel to them. They are of heavy weight. Made in London in 1930 / 1933 by Omar Ramsden Approx. Total weight - 988g / 31.77oz Approx height - 22cm Approx. Width of base - 9.3cm Signed/Inscribed: Full English Hallmarks on bodies and lids. These casters are in excellent condition with no damage.
