Antique Walker & Hall English Silver Plated Tantalus or Bottle Stand

About the Item

This antique silver plated tantalus was made by the well known Walker & Hall of England in approximately 1900 in a period Edwardian style. The tantalus or bottle stand or castor will hold three bottles with a diameter of up to three and three quarter inches. The stand is done with very simple lines, using three rings to create the 'carriage' for each bottle with a sturdy handle at the top, and claw feet. The base is clearly signed with the hallmark for Walker & Hall.
