Large Antique Birks Silver Plated Serving Tray with Leaf & Berry Decoration
About the Item
This very large and substantial antique serving tray was produced for the renowned Birks retailers by an unknown maker from England and dates to approximately 1880 and done in the period Victorian style. The tray is composed of Birks signature regency silver plate and features an ornate stylized leaf and berry surround with accenting handles and detailed engraved decoration. The tray is hallmarked on the bottom with the Birks rearing lion passant and "England" in block lettering.
