Tall Neoclassical Electrified Silver Plated Column-Form Oil Lamp

About the Item

Tall, neoclassical, electrified, column-form oil lamp, England, circa 1880s. Stepped - up square base. 38 inches high Ito top of finial) height is adjustable x 6 1/2 inches wide (at base) x 6 1/2 inches deep (at base). Column itself, without oil font, is 18 inches high and is decorated with wreaths on all four sides of the stepped up base. Weighted. Recently re-wired and comes with its shade. Minor loss of plating in spots (see photos). In good antique condition.
