London, 1797, set of 4 Old English engraved pattern sterling silver spoons (suitable as tablespoons) by Peter & Ann Bateman. Later monograms. Elegant bright-cut Classical work was a hallmark of the Bateman family's silver. 7 troy oz. 8 1/2" long, 1 11/16" w.
