Antique Fish Knife Unique Sea Serpent Snake Sterling Silver French Cake Etched

About the Item

Stunning antique handcrafted fish or cake knife featuring unique sea serpent and shell pattern handle. The blade portion has intricate etchings, making this a wonderful piece of collectible art. Hallmarked on both sides of the blade as shown in the last two photographs. One side has a double weevil hallmark which is French for imported gold or silver objects since 1864, the other side has three stamps one of which looks to be an eagle and another of a head.
