Antique Sterling Silver Creamer, Cream Jug
About the Item
A beautiful antique sterling silver Creamer or milk jug.
This sweet antique Creamer stands on three paw feet and has a squat, pot bellied body which tapers up to the lightly wavy spout.
It has a fine silver handle with a minimalist arrow shaped engraved thumbpiece to aid grip of the jug.
It is fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1916 Elkington and Co Ltd.
Though the marks are significantly rubbed they are still visible.
The perfect accompaniment to the country cottage kitchen or the chic breakfast table.
The beauty of antique silverware is not only that it is an eco friendly choice, the craftsmanship and materials were of such a superior quality, its neutral polished tones means it would blend into many decor styles from period to contemporary.
