An exceptional, fine and impressive pair of antique George V English sterling silver nutcrackers; an addition to our silver flatware collection.
These exceptional antique George V sterling silver nutcrackers have a plain curved form.
The hinged handles of these impressive examples of antique silverware are segmented to incorporate a collared panelled portion below the rounded lever jaws.
The interior of the handle bears the retailer's mark 'Dryad', in addition to the full and part hallmarks.
Condition
These antique sterling silver nutcrackers are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.
The piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.
Full hallmarks struck to the internal surface of one handle and part hallmarks to the other are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
