Edwardian Octagonal Sterling Silver Vase by William Comyns

Hallmarked in London, in 1906, by William Comyns, this attractive, antique, Edwardian, sterling silver vase, has an octagonal panelled body with a reed and shell band around it, and applied decoration to the base and rim. The vase measures 14"(36cm) tall, with a base diameter of 7"(17.5cm) and a diameter of 6"(15cm) at the rim. The vase weighs 24 troy ounces.
