Edwardian, sterling silver and guilloche enamel-mounted letter opener, Sheffield, England, year-hallmarked for 1921, Mappin and Webb - makers. The guilloche enamel shimmers with a golden hue in the light. Enamel is on one side of the handle. The all sterling silver blade is etched. Measures 9 1/2 inches long x 1 inch wide (at widest point) x 1/4 inch high when lying flat. Dark spots in photos are reflections. In excellent antique condition.
