English Victorian Classical Sterling Silver Goblet, 1870

About the Item

Victorian Classical sterling silver goblet. Made by Henry Wilkinson & Co. in Sheffield in 1870. Tall and tapering bowl with domed bottom, knopped cylindrical stem and round foot. Engraved stylized ornament: pointille strapwork frames of which two vacant and two inset with flowers as well as garland, leafing scrollwork, and egg-and-dart borders. Gilt interior. Fully marked. Weight: 7 troy ounces.
