Georges Fouquet Lapar Sterling Silver Tea Pot
About the Item
This vintage rare French sterling silver tea pot is beautifully designed by Georges Fouquet-Lapar in the 1930’s. It is stylishly decorated with an elaborate spout & subtle banding. An elegant curved rosewood handle is attached to its body. The hinged lid cover is embellished with a sculpted raised finial. The base is signed L.LAPAR over PARIS. The hallmarks consist of two punch marks. One of these is the head of a gladiator. The other punch is diamond shape bearing the initials GFL. This is a high quality sterling tea pot created by a master silversmith. The weight of this tea pot is 25.4 troy ounces.
