Pair of 5-Flame Art Deco Silver Candelabras by Wilhelm Binder Germany Ca 1930

About the Item

Two five-flame candelabras of simple elegance on an octagonal, stepped foot, raised in the middle and ending in a shaft with an octagonal cross-section, in the lower area of the shaft the wall is slightly wavy, converging and widening again, removable top piece with a central spout and four curved volute arms with struts, attached, bud-shaped spouts with eaves bowls, the eight-pointedness continuing here in every detail. Made around 1930 crescent + crown - German imperial silver stamp from 1888 800 - silver fineness 'W' - HAMMER - 'B' - Master's sign WILHELM BINDER, silver goods factory, Schwäbisch Gmuend, Germany, established 1869 Dimensions: Height: 57.0 cm / 22.44 in Diameter: 40.0 cm / 15.74 in Total weight: 2640 Grams / 84.88 troy ounces Condition: very well-maintained condition, cleaned and polished.
