Rare Antique Novelty Sterling Silver Cigar Cutter, 1899

About the Item

A magnificent and rare figural sterling silver cigar cutter; the terminal beautifully cast as a Boar's head retaining two original red stone / glass eyes; the detail is stunning. The silver has a foreign import mark (F) probably from Germany or France; it has the full English silver hallmark for London 1899. Superb condition with minor wear commensurate with age and usage measuring 5 3/4" x 1 1/4" x 1 1/2". Weighing 3.68 Troy Ounces / 114.5 Grams.
