Rare Sterling Silver

About the Item

We are delighted to offer you this exceptional sterling silver (tea) tray, made by Harry Atkin (Atkin Brothers) of Sheffield England, hallmarked 1903. This antique tray was manufactured during the reign of King Edward VII, successor to Queen Victoria. It has a gadroon design going around the edge with a shell motif on each corner and in the center of each side. The entire inside has an etched pattern of scrolls and flowers decorating it and in the center a large cartouche for a monogram. If ever a piece of sterling silver personified the elegance and grandeur of old English entertaining this is it!
